The power of photography to capture emotions, tell stories, and connect us to the world becomes even more accessible when we embrace intuitive photography — an approach that encourages us to connect with our emotions, trust our instincts, and create from the heart rather than getting bogged down in technicalities.

The term “intuitive photography” was coined by Mindy Véissid, author of The Art of Intuitive Photography. As Mindy beautifully describes it, intuitive photography is about “experiencing photos rather than just taking them, letting go of the need to control and allowing the magic of the moment to unfold.”

Now, you might be wondering, “Do I need to master a whole bunch of technical jargon before I can even start?” The good news is, you absolutely don’t!

While technical knowledge can certainly enhance your photography, it’s not a prerequisite for capturing compelling images. Let me explain.
