In my recent story ‘Street Photography — Finding that Decisive Moment’, I introduced the idea that photography is like a time- and teleport-machine combined; when done right, it has the ability to transcend the limitation of space and time and bring viewers back to the scene where the action took place. Based on this idea, I was inspired to start a story series called ‘Once Upon A Time’, in which I want to take viewers back to a time and place that I have visited before and taken some interesting photos from. Think of these as curated tours of places that I have special memories with along the way of my photography journey. In this Covid madness where traveling for leisure is almost impossible, I hope this virtual experience can temporarily fix your craving for travel before the world goes back to normal again (finger crossed).
